I love the first blank page of a new notebook or diary, and all of the promise it brings! Nothing like deciding what this particular notebook is for and clearly titling it and underlining said title, and then designating a notebook pen. (Maybe that’s just me.) I will probably move on to a crisper, less scribbled on one in about a week.
Cheers to MacMillan for my lovely new red-bound hardback diary.
Captain Planet was right. Who would have thought that Ted Turner, TV’s evil mogul, could have so elegantly prophesied the future in 1990, with his mighty aqua hero and pro-Gaia catchphrases?
An eco house built by elves is the only way to go.
Being a woman of age, though little means, I may have to sell a kidney to eventually build or renovate, but I reckon it’s a small price to pay to escape the greasy clutches of the oil barrel.
The architecture is also a lot more innovative and pleasing than the more usual bungalow/dormer squatting on Irish soil.
Check out mad old Duncan on About The House for some examples.
GO PLANET!
One of the best tumblrs around.
